- Backordered, shipping soon
California Wonder Bell Pepper is an early-maturing upright heirloom pepper that heavily produces fruits that are ready for harvest in 60-70 days (green) to 75-80 days (red). The large bell shaped pods are typically 4" wide, and are excellent for stuffing and stir fries. The underripe green peppers are mild and sweet with the traditional grassy undertone, while the fully ripened red is very sweet and fruity with a mild flavor. Best if grown in full sun and rich, moist, acidic well-drained soils. California Wonder is heat-tolerant and resistant to TMV.
