Verbena hybrid 'DVERBINPR' ~ PW® Superbena Sparkling® Amethyst Verbena

Amethyst Verbena is a compact herbaceous perennial with a stiff, mounding habit and hairy stems sporting sharply toothed lance-like leaves.  The wiry branched stems are lightly leafed and are topped by large clusters of bicolor lavender flowers with purple and white splashes from spring until frost attracting butterflies.  Grows best with full sun and well-drained soils.  Superbena have mildew resistance and heat and drought tolerance.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  No serious pests or diseases.  Slowly spreads to form colonies.
LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Naturalized Areas, Woodland Gardens, Rock Gardens, and Containers.

COMPANION PLANTS:  Fountain Grass, Lantana, Beardtongue
