Tuff Stuff Top Fun Hydrangea is a compact hardy deciduous shrub with a tidy habit of upright stems and dark green foliage that emerges burgundy but has no fall color. The lacecap panicles have green smaller flowers and the larger outer flowers color depends on the PH of the soil- in acidic soils the flowers will be purple to lilac blue while alkaline flowers will be pink. Its a repeat bloomer with the first bloom on old wood in early summer and the second late in summer on new wood that lasts till frost. Best bloom in part sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.
