Chater's Double Mix Hollyhock is a mix of upright clumping biennial with rich green foliage and sturdy stalks.  Flower spikes sport 3-4" double flowers that come in various colors bloom from mid summer into fall.  Blooms best with full sun and rich, moist well-drained soil. 

Chater's Double Mix can have flowers that are scarlet, pink, soft apricot, white, yellow, or gold yellow.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Medium Maintenance. Foliage is susceptible to rust, leaf spot and anthracnose. Spider mites and Japanese beetle can also be problems.  Taller stems many need to be staked. Intolerant of wet soils.  Though an annual, can self seed and create colonies that persist as if they were perennials.
